I may have disagreed with some of your comments before- but with that one I can relate. The community is indeed misguided in many ways- idolizing couples who bully each other as if bullying is romantic, or sometimes rivals are seen as romantic couples as if love is the same as getting your adrenaline pumped up ("you make me wanna be stronger" BS that some sports anime/ hero protags overuse). I don't judge or condemn toxic relationships per se- because toxic relationships also need decent representation- there are a lot of thing we can learn from people who do it wrong than from the ones who just project the right stuff. But toxic relationships should be portrayed as they are- as toxic- with characters reacting to the complications with plausible and genuine sincerity- not like the couples become so "blinded" by their obsessions they eventually sweep the emotional and mental "damage" under the rug and walk off to sunshine boulevard as if nothing was ever wrong to begin with.

This is me saying shippers who ship couples who CANNOT by any stretch of imagination be a couple in the real world under the same circumstances should ask themselves what they're looking for in a relationship that they see needless violence and bullying as "cute" or "romantic." Shippers who are overwhelmed easily by the most trivial act of kindness on the part of a jerk should also inquire into their own backstories- because falling in love with abusive characters who show 99% abuse and 1% kindness is just disturbing.

funny thing about Rent-A-Girlfriend is that(from the majority that I watched of S1) it could have been SOOO much better if they changed just 1 or 2 things, ex: FL being Sumi(IMO)

Poor Kazuki-papa, he didn't deserve that, Miri totally destroyed him - she even wanted to go to the daycare with Rei-papa. Though I must say, rebellious Miri was kinda entertaining. But I'm glad that she got through it, because there is no better Miri than the one who loves both of her papas.
